Job Description

-In coordination with direct sales associates, solicit new and existing accounts to meet/exceed revenue goals through telephone solicitation, site inspections and written communication, outside sales calls.
-Prepare correspondence to customers, internal booking reports and file maintenance.
-To monitor closely and assure implementation of the standards in the sales office
-To be involved in review the daily sales call reports and follow up on the action taken.
-To handle all incoming and outgoing correspondence in coordination with the Director of Sales.
-Inter follow up and coordination on any conference, meeting or seminar.
-To maintain the strictest confidentiality on all matters relating to Sheraton Deira Hotel plus all other sales and personnel related matters.
-To provide secretarial and administrative assistance to the DOSM and secondly to provide back up administration to the sales team.  Preparation of correspondence, maintenance of appointments diary for DOSM.
-To continually enhance and improve the efficiency and organization of the department, by design and implementing administrative systems.
-Minute taking of sales meeting and other meetings where necessary.
-To take responsibility and/or support as appropriate, any departmental projects as directed by the DOSM.
-In case of any group request for banqueting function from the existing suppliers to get involved in pre-convention meetings, training and other sales related meetings as required.
-Communicate and work with other departments within the hotel to provide quality service to customers.
-Organization and efficient day to day running of the Sales Office
-Completing ‘Request for Proposal’ forms from companies requesting rates and detailed hotel information.
-Assist Sales team with weekly competitor checks
-Ensure full liaison with other members of the Sales Department.
-Strong communication with the key departments for example Sales & Reservations.

Requirements
-Minimum of 2 years of experience in same field preferred
