Job Description:
The Spa Receptionist t is the first point of contact for guests visiting the spa. She/he is responsible for greeting them warmly and answering all queries with patience, providing accurate and complete information about the spa and the hotel. The Spa Receptionist also ensures that all reservations are recorded accurately and that payment procedures are completed.

General Responsibilities Include:

Ensures all guests are greeted warmly at all times Coordinates guest consultation records with the therapists Is responsible for all billing procedures at the reception desk and the correct reconciliation of funds at the close of each shift and at the end of the day’s work Schedules reservations of spa services for guests and monitors the availability of treatments and staff to ensure prompt service according to the relevant skills of the therapists Organizes scheduling to maximize the use of time and profitability whilst ensuring that the guests’ needs are of first importance Has full retail knowledge of treatments, products and prices charged

Skills/Knowledge Required:

Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic (written and spoken) are essential for this role Proficient in the use of Micros and Opera Highly customer service focused

Qualification Standards:

Education: High school certificate or equivalent

Experience: Needs to have previous work experience in a spa operation and a minimum of two years experience in a guest facing role in a five star hotel. Ideally has previous work experience in the United Arab Emirates.

Licenses or Certificates:

Grooming: All colleagues must maintain a neat, and well groomed appearance (specific standards will be provided)
