Job Description:
The Bell Attendant is responsible for creating a delightful arrival and departure experience from the time our guests step in and out of the car. The Bell Attendant is also able to demonstrate the guest room features and technology, through knowledge of all the hotel’s products and services.
General Responsibilities Include:
  • Escorts guests to their destination
  • Handles the delivery and storage of guest luggage
  • Delivers amenities, messages, faxes etc. as requested
  • Fulfills guest requests in a timely and professional manner
Skills/Knowledge Required:
  • Ability to communicate in English (written and spoken). Knowledge of foreign languages is an advantage
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
  • Accustomed to handling customer complaints of varying severity
  • Basic Knowledge of computers, e.g. Internet Explorer, Word and Opera
Qualification Standards:
Education: High school certificate or equivalent
Experience: Needs to have a minimum of one year experience at the Bell Desk of a five star luxury hotel, preferably in the United Arab Emirates.
Licenses or Certificates:
Grooming: All colleagues must maintain a neat, and well groomed appearance (specific standards will be provided)

•Receive each guest call in a professional and friendly manner

The hotel will be in close proximity to both the Sharjah and Dubai airports. The hotel features 252 guestrooms and suites, including two luxurious penthouse offerings, a multitude of dining options and fitness facilities. The beachfront location will offer guests a wide range of leisure activities including water sports and diving as well as access to shopping and cultural excursions. Event planners can take advantage of 2,000 square meters of indoor function space as well as outdoor facilities. 
 
Summary of Responsibilities: 
Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
  • Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
  • Lead and supervise the day-to-day operation of the department to ensure service standards are followed
  • Handle Guest concerns and react quickly, logging and notifying the proper areas
  • Actively participate in daily briefing, daily warm up and department meetings
  • Ensure Room Attendants are informed daily about priorities in their section

Qualifications:
