Area Operations Manager – Restaurants Salary: up to AED 20,000 based on experience
Responsibilities:
• Reviews & approves quarterly targets based on re projections in keeping with business trends
• Presents each outlet Business Performance Review to the Group operations Manager quarterly
• Communicates plans for QSR strategy across geographical territories, and addresses areas of opportunity for improved business results
• Makes personal visits to each operating unit within QSR operating territories
• Reviews and address staffing levels for unit operations
• Works within “Operational and HR P&P guidelines”
• Reviews and monitors audit results for operational excellence. Follows up on audits action plans
• Analyses financial achievements
• Analyze current operational standards, menus, employee performance and recommend any changes where necessary
• Develops action plans for underperforming territories
• Actively looks for opportunities for business growth – via new or existing units
• Ensures that a system is in place for effective communication with the QSR management team and employees
• Provides input; approves QSR annual marketing calendar developed by the marketing team, and follows-up on execution of promotions
• Works with support departments; IT, Design and Build, PWL, Finance and HR to streamline systems for effectiveness and operational ease
• Grows all direct reports
 
Required Qualifications:
• Diploma holder with related 5 years experience (Catering Diploma)
• Business degree would be an advantage
• Ability to analyse, understand & interpret financial and operational reports.
• Experience in Startup / opening of new locations would be an advantage
• Previous experience in managing multiple sites of at least 3 outlets
• Excellent skills in word, excel, PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication skills in English and ability to interact with all levels in the organization
